Tehani is a Mexican/UK dark fantasy & sci-fi artist, based primarily in Mexico. She is a traditional cover artist & painter for comics, games, books, and the movie & music industry, and is highly influenced by Cyberpunk, Dark fantasy & high fashion, through literature, tv and comics.
She has worked with many brands throughout diverse industries, including Puma, Sony, E Entertainment TV, Scout cómics (Eternus), Dynamite (Vampirella), Heavy Metal (Taarna), Image Comics (Sacrificers & Worldtree), Stranger Comics (Multiple Covers for Niobe and the World of Asunda) Playboy (Art Attack Cover), Blizzard Kamite (World of Warcraft), Ubisoft Massive Publishing (Assassins Creed), Thunder Comics (Kingdom of God) and Wacom, among others.
Tehani has also been the subject of numerous exhibitions around the world, including London, Paris, Barcelona, Tokyo, New York, LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Switzerland (at the HR. Giger Museum), Germany, Mexico, South Africa, Colombia, Malta, and Ecuador, focusing her fine art traditional Illustration on the creativity in world building, characters development and story telling.
Tehani is an artist of dark surrealism & figment realities; her paintings traverse within the spectrum of fantastic and esoteric realism, emphasizing towards the beauty, strength and strangeness of the ancestral, the eccentricity of the unknown, powerful and seductive, forgotten tribes; gods and warriors, inter-dimensional beings, built into futuristic post-apocalyptic and Cyberpunk dystopias that tell stories influenced by her own life experiences and multicultural background, focusing on female empowerment which has inordinately motivated her personal journey through fashion, literature & comics.
