PHILIP HINCHCLIFFE is nothing less than Doctor Who – and television – royalty, producing the show from 1974-1977, now widely regarded as one of the show’s undisputed golden eras. From ARK IN SPACE to THE TALONS OF WENG-CHIANG, under Philip’s tenure as producer the show was arguably never better produced or received by millions of viewers in the UK and increasingly, beyond.

Outside of Doctor Who, Philip went on to carve out a career as producer and an executive in film and TV, delivering critically acclaimed productions such as NANCY ASTOR, PRIVATE SCHULZ, THE CHARMER, TARGET, REBUS and VIRTUOSO, as well as producing AN AWFULLY BIG ADVENTURE with HUGH GRANT and LEONARDO DiCAPRIO’s big screen debut, TOTAL ECLIPSE.
