
Poppy Corby-Tuech (pronounced tu-esh) is a French/ British actress. She was born in France and moved to the U.K aged nine and speak both French and English fluently.
Poppy is known for playing the pivotal role of dark wizard Grindelwald’s mysterious sidekick & loyal follower Vinda Rosier in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film franchise. These include ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ and ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’. The latter is the third film in the series and was released in April 2022.
Also in 2022 she starred in ‘The Peripheral’, a sci-fi drama TV series from Amazon Prime based on the book by William Gibson, from the creators of Westworld. The show is set in a futuristic America and centres on a smart, ambitious woman called Flynne Fisher who is trying to hold together her broken family. Poppy plays recurring character Mariel.
She is also recognisable for her recurring role in Series 1 of Hulu’s ‘Harlots’ set in Georgian London, alongside Lesley Manville and Samantha Morton. Other notable TV credits include Shane Meadow’s ‘This is England 90’, Amazon/BBC drama ‘The Collection’ and Starzplay’s sci-fi drama ‘The Rook’.
